All paper handmade by Tibetan Artisans,
tree free, acid free, with natural dyes of saffron, indigo, pomegranate skin,
rhubarb, the inner part of the acacia tree, walnut skin and more.
It is made from the inner bark of the Daphne bush,
which grows in the Himalayan regions of Tibet and Nepal at an altitude of 6,500' - 11,000' above sea level.
Unequaled, in color and texture and durability. Truly a beautiful paper.
It is sustainable, and does not promote deforestation.
Using exclusively Tibetan Handmade Papers from Katmandu,
and other regions to support and preserve the traditional paper making techniques of the rural and urban areas of Nepal,
and to help provide employment to low-income families and Tibetan refugees. |
